  • India has won the ICC CWC on one occasion, achieving a famous victory over the West Indies in 1983 at Lord’s.
  • Sachin Tendulkar has the most runs in ICC CWC history, with an amazing 1796 runs at an average of 57.93.
  • Tendulkar also holds the record for most runs in a competition when he smashed 673 at the ICC CWC 2003.
  • He is also the only man in ICC CWC history to be out in the 90s on three occasions.
  • India scored the highest total in ICC CWC history when it made 413-5 v Bermuda in 2007.
  • Its 257-run win over Bermuda in that match was all the biggest winning margin in ICC CWC history.
  • India holds more record partnership for an individual wicket than any other country – second wicket (Sourav Ganguly/Rahul Dravid), third wicket (Rahul Dravid/Sachin Tendulkar) and ninth wicket (Kapil Dev/Syed Kirmani).
